Coming from a beginner’s point of view...
The Ace 150 is easy to use; simply push the power button and go. Now in all fairness I did read about two paragraphs in the instruction manual, but really two paragraphs and I was ready to give it a go.
I haven't had the chance to put this detector to the test. However first opening the box it was very simple to assemble. Within 15 min. I had my first find worth any amount of money. A 1977 Nickel, just so happens that was the year I was born. I'm hoping that is a good omen.
The features are easy to use and simple to change back and forth depending upon what you are looking for. I would absolutely recommend this detector for beginners.
