I am a novice at metal detecting but I do enjoy the hobby. My wife owns a Minelab Sovereign GT. I join her in her ventures at the beach here in Florida. We have a great time. When she tires, she hands it over to me. She looks for coins, relics, jewelry - whatever's out there. She hasn't found much yet but she is very optimistic & positive. She loves the hobby. She recently ordered a new set of headphones from a KellyCo Rep. at the RV Rally in Perry Georgia, they are great. My wife is very pleased with the new headphones. The Rep. that we spoke with in Georgia was Tony (can't remember his last name) he was a very nice young man, very informative.
So far, we have found a lot of coins, just loose change that people lose at the beach, and a man's silver wedding ring. A whole bunch of pull tabs from soda & beer cans. We will be going to another beach South of where we now live to look around for relics from Spanish sunken ships that have been buried since the l700's. We are certainly looking forward to going on this trip in the very near future.
