A friend & I both purchased Whites M6's in 07 and immediately started finding stuff including coins, rings, and many other things. It's so simple to use right out of the box with the built in ID meter to help you along. We haven't found a lot of silver, maybe 20 coins, but wow! What a thrill when you do! The weather was warm on 11/29 took my new friend out and found another 1960 Franklin and a silver dime along with a few bucks in change. I can't wait until spring. It’s time to do some research for next year. Happy hunting!

The Whites M6 is a real coin shooter! I haven't had a whole lot of luck with jewelry, except for the cheap costume type but I've found loads of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters with my M6. I'm sure that the lack of jewelry finding is my fault and not the machine's. I tend to turn my discrimination up fairly high and my sensitivity down low. That way I can sweep a field rather quickly and just nab the coins within about four inches of the surface. That's thrilling enough for me.....for now! I'm sure that once I've grown bored with clad coins, I'll return to those same locations and look for whatever else is there. I'm just amazed at the M6's ability to spot quarters, dimes and pennies. Nickels can be a bit tricky but the former three can't hide from this detector.

I recently detected with a fellow that was running an older (and cheaper) metal detector and let me tell you; spend the extra money for a decent detector. This guy's machine didn't have the pinpoint feature and he had to dig holes the size of a basketball to find whatever his detector was ringing on!! Poor guy! In the time it took him to dig up a couple of pull tabs and a dime, my M6 had already found $1.75 in quarters and about 50 cents in dimes! At the end of the day, he swore that he was going to order himself an M6. LOL!!

Overall......a great machine that makes metal detecting fun and not frustrating. Get one.

I’ve been out about 6 times mostly at two parks and found over 150 coins. Most coins were under 4" deep. Those parks are a cash cow. I had hits for 55 quarters and came up with 52 of them (pretty good). Of the 4 false hits, 2 were large washers, one was an electrical box wire pop out, and the other was a car wash token with a picture of a model T. 5 cents and pop tops are quite hard to verify though. The M6 is very, very easy to use. My best find is a cross country race award about the size of a Kennedy half dollar worn around the neck. Older homes and deeper finds are next. For the person new at this, go to your local baseball fields and check along first and third base line where people sit. The coins just ROLL out. Good luck. 41/2 stars.

I recently purchased a Garrett Gtax 550 after coming back to detecting after a few years. The ground types I hunt are a mix of clay, iron ore, and sandy loam. The detector didn't handle the soil types well and I was disappointed. I contacted Kellyco and they helped in the return of the detector and helped me in a replacement that could handle the different ground types I have in my area. I researched what they said and purchased a Matrix M6. I have owned a Garrett gti 2500 and all the treasure Aces. I also have owned a Minelab Explorer but the Whites by far exceeds the others in ease of use and depth in my area. The ground balance on the Matrix is perfect for the changing soil types we have in Arkansas. I have pulled several coins in areas I have worked with other detectors. The Matrix is an MXT without the capability of prospecting. I have personally dug a quarter at 10 inches and a dime at 8 inches and several wheat cent beyond 7 inches. In two days of detecting off and on, I have dug 70 coins that were left by other detectors. I would recommend this detector to anyone.

I bought my White's M6 from Kellyco a while back. Since buying the M6, my finds have gone up dramatically. I've been buying detectors from Kellyco for a few years now and every time I upgrade my finds get better and better.
